Nestled amidst lush and picturesque surroundings of the Aravalis and the Vindhya mountain ranges in Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan, Ranthambore National Park is amongst the finest national parks and tiger reserves of India. For a relatively small area, Ranthambore shelters over 30 species of mammal, 272 bird species, 12 reptile species and 350 plant species including 50 aquatic plants.
