Desert National Park, Jaisalmer

Located amidst the unending sand dunes of the Thar, close to Indo-Pak border in western Rajasthan, the Desert National Park is known for its fragile ecosystem and unique and diverse flora and fauna. Situated just 40 km from the golden city of Jaisalmer, the Desert National Park is one of the largest national parks of India covering an area over 3,150 sq km. November to March is best time to visit the Desert National Park. The park is easily accessible by road from Jaisalmer (40 km).
