Day 01: Delhi
On arrival at the airport, our Rajasthan Wildlife Tour representative will meet you and escort you to your hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
Set out on a sight seeing tour of Delhi. Visit some of the most famous attractions of Delhi like the Raj Ghat and Shanti Van- cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, the Jama Masjid, Red Fort and the Chandni Chowk area. Later, our Rajasthan Wildlife Tour representative will take you to the Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb, Lakshminarayan Temple and the India Gate. You will drive past some of the most important landmarks in Delhi. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi - Jaipur
A morning drive will take you to the "pink city" of Jaipur and on arrival you will be escorted to your hotel. After resting awhile, set out to discover the grandeur of the Amber Fort besides enjoying an elephant ride to the entrance of the fort. Return for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 04: Jaipur - Ranthambore
On day 4 of the Essence of India and Tiger tour, enjoy a morning drive around the wonderful city of Jaipur. Later, our representative will drive you to the famous Ranthambore National Park that is around 185 km away from Jaipur. Check in at a forest lodge and spend a relaxed day indulging in any activity of your choice.
Day 05: Ranthambore
Enjoy morning and evening excursions to the wilds of Ranthambore as part of your Essence of India and Tiger tour. Your trips to the jungle would acquaint you with the rich flora and fauna the Ranthambore Park boasts of. It may be mentioned that the park is home to around 300 species of trees, 50 species of aquatic plants, 272 types of birds and 12 species of reptiles. You will return for an overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 06: Ranthambore
Enjoy more forays into the Ranthambore Park and observe a number of exotic animals like the Sambhar, Chital, Nilgai, Indian Hare, Gazelle, Monitor Lizards and so on. Stay overnight at your lodge.
Day 07: Ranthambore - Bharatpur
Set out for Bharatpur that boasts of the Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary. With more than 300 species of birds, the park is an experience in itself. On arrival, check into a lodge and relax awhile. In the evening, you will be able to enjoy a refreshing walk around the park and also observe varied species of birds. Bicycle and rickshaw tours around the park also add up to some wonderful memories. Overnight stay will be at the lodge.
Day 08: Bharatpur - Agra
Our Rajasthan Wildlife Tour representative will drive you to Agra in the morning. You will also stop to explore the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri enroute. On arrival at Agra, visit the magnificent Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort before retiring for an overnight stay in a hotel.
Day 09: Agra - Bandhavgarh
As part of your Essence of India and Tiger tour, you will drive to the Agra railway station to board an executive class air-conditioned train to Bandhavgarh. On arrival, you will drive to the Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve and check into a forest lodge. Overnight stay will be at the lodge.
Day 10: Bandhavgarh
Explore the Bandhavgarh National Park besides enjoying a jeep/elephant ride in the evening. Stay overnight at the forest lodge.
Day 11: Bandhavgarh
As part of the Essence of India and Tiger tour, you will be treated to morning and evening excursions to the Bandhavgarh National Park. Enjoy a day full of animal sightings and majestic views of the Vindhyachal ranges. Your overnight stay will be at the lodge.
Day 12: Bandhavgarh
You will spend another exciting day at Bandhavgarh and get to know about its exotic flora and fauna. The park boasts of a varied wildlife population that includes the White Tiger, Nilgai, Chinkara, Chousingha, Chital, Ratel, Black Faced Langur and so on. Day 13: Kanha
Our Rajasthan Wildlife Tour representative will drive you to the Kanha Tiger Reserve in the morning. On arrival, check in at a lodge and set out on an evening jeep safari. Return for an overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 14: Kanha
You will enjoy some exciting jungle safaris on day 14 of the Essence of India and Tiger tour. Spot a number of exotic animals like the Sambhar, Chital, Nilgai, Barasingha Deer, and Indian Bison besides other animals like the Tiger, Wild Boar, Spotted Deer, Leopard and so on. Stay overnight at the forest lodge.
Day 15: Kanha - Jabalpur
After a brief foray into the wilds of Kanha, you will drive to the Jabalpur railway station where you will board an overnight train to Delhi.
Day 16: Delhi
On arrival in Delhi, you will check into a hotel for some rest. Drive to the airport in the evening to board your return flight back home thus marking the end of your Essence of India and Tiger tour.
