Day 01: Delhi
You will arrive to a warm welcome at the international airport in Delhi. Thereafter, a Rajasthan Wildlife Tour representative will escort you to your hotel. After resting awhile, set out to explore the historic city of Delhi. Visit the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Qutub Minar Jantar Mantar and so on before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 02: Delhi - Sariska
On day 2 of your Best of Wildlife and Pinch of Culture tour, drive to the Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary in Rajasthan. Check in at a hotel after which you will set out on a bird watching tour to the Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary. You will stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Sariska - Jaipur
Enjoy an early morning foray into the wilds of the Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary in Rajasthan. Spot a variety of animals like the Tiger, Chital, Nilgai, Chausingha, Langur, Rhesus Monkey and birds like the Peafowl, Grey Partridge, Sand Grouse, Tree Pie and the Crested Serpent Eagle.
After a late breakfast, drive to the "pink city" of Jaipur in Rajasthan, India. You will also visit the grand Amber Fort en route. Check in at a hotel and set out to discover the local attractions of Jaipur including the City Palace and Jantar Mantar. Return for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 04: Jaipur - Ranthambore
As part of your Best of Wildlife and Pinch of Culture tour, you will drive to Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan. Check in at a jungle lodge and set out on an afternoon wildlife safari to the famous Ranthambore National Park. Return to the jungle lodge for dinner and an overnight stay after an exciting evening.
Day 05: Ranthambore
Enjoy morning and evening excursions to the wilds of Ranthambore as part of your Best of Wildlife and Pinch of Culture tour. Your trips to the jungle would acquaint you with the rich flora and fauna the Ranthambore Park boasts of. It may be mentioned that the park is home to around 300 species of trees, 50 species of aquatic plants, 272 types of birds and 12 species of reptiles. You will return for an overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 06: Ranthambore
Enjoy more forays into the Ranthambore Park and observe a number of exotic animals like the Sambhar, Chital, Nilgai, Indian Hare, Gazelle, Monitor Lizards and so on. Stay overnight at your lodge.
Day 07: Ranthambore - Bharatpur
After a morning drive to the wilds of Ranthambore, set out for Bharatpur that boasts of the Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary. With more than 300 species of birds, the park is an experience in itself. On arrival, check into a lodge and relax awhile. In the evening, you will be able to enjoy a refreshing walk around the park and also observe varied species of birds. Bicycle and rickshaw tours around the park also add up to some wonderful memories. Overnight stay will be at the lodge.
Day 08: Bharatpur
On day 8 of your Best of Wildlife and Pinch of Culture tour, you will be treated to an enjoyable boat ride on the beautiful lake within the Bharatpur sanctuary. Spot some rare birds and waterfowl from close quarters besides enjoying a bicycle/cycle rickshaw tour in the park. Return for an overnight stay at your forest lodge.
Day 09: Bharatpur - Agra
Our Rajasthan Wildlife Tour representative will drive you to Agra after a morning bird watching trip in the wilds of the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. On arrival at Agra, visit the magnificent Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort before retiring for an overnight stay in a hotel.
Day 10: Agra - Khajuraho
You will fly to Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh on day 10 of your Best of Wildlife and Pinch of Culture tour. After checking in at a hotel, set to discover the celebrated temples of Khajuraho that were constructed by the Chandela rulers. Visit the famous Western Group of Temples among others that are based on the themes of passion and sensuality. You will return for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 11: Khajuraho - Varanasi
Fly to Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh with the Best of Wildlife and Pinch of Culture Tour package. Varanasi is one of the oldest living cities in the world and is an important seat of spirituality. Spend a relaxed evening before retiring for the night at the hotel in Varanasi, India.
Day 12: Varanasi - Delhi
As part of your Best of Wildlife and Pinch of Culture Tour, enjoy an early morning motorboat ride on the Ganges. Revel in the sacred charm of the city and watch thousands of devotees milling around the banks of the Ganges to offer their morning prayers. Visit the wonderful temples and colorful markets of Varanasi in course of the day. You will return to Delhi later in the day to board your evening flight back home.
